Aww, look, I did something this summer!
No, really. I've been quite busy with so many problems, vacations, and whatnot. Just complete flip flop events.
Anyways, this Fuu pup was inspired by looking at
's awesome gallery. I absolutely love the hounds, and thought "hey, I should draw one for fun"
The sketch turned into an inking project at night on my Hawaii trip, and I decided to brave the colored pencils yesterday.
So a very slow piece of work, dunno exactly how long it took. I'm content with how he came out, despite my huge weakness for colored pencils and the lack of drastic shades and highlights.
But then again, I kind of like all the obnoxious colors. Makes him look goofy.
So I'm content and may keep this design for fuu pups in the future. Huzzah!

Great job with the colored pencils. There is a product that smooths and blends colored pencils well it would get rid of those white speckles.
Know what any of that is called? I'll try using a smudge tool but I believe part of the problem is the tooth of the page. Thanks for the tip.
